HEART TROUBLE LONG CHORUS You give me heart trouble. Give me heart trouble. You made my worries more than double You give me heart trouble. Give me heart trouble. My tower of love became a pile of rubble You give me heart trouble. Give me heart trouble. You went and burst my romantic bubble You give me heart trouble. Give me heart trouble. You made my worries more than double VERSE 1 You are a hurricane blowing me away A natural disaster with each word that you say You can be oh so cold that I can see my breath You change like the weather, suddenly like death CHORUS You give me heart trouble. Give me heart trouble. You made my worries more than double You give me heart trouble. Give me heart trouble. You went and burst my romantic bubble VERSE 2 I went to my doctor and said that my heart aches My head hurts, I’ve got the chills and I’ve got the shakes He poked and prodded me wearing a rubber glove He said, “Son, you’re suffering from unrequited love.” SHORT CHORUS VERSE 3 I jumped off a cliff and fell hard for you You watched me hit so hard, ‘cuz that’s just what you do You were so nonchalant, right from the start And then you walked away, just to break my heart LONG CHORUS You give me heart trouble. Give me heart trouble. You made my worries more than double You give me heart trouble. Give me heart trouble. My tower of love became a pile of rubble You give me heart trouble. Give me heart trouble. You went and burst my romantic bubble You give me heart trouble. Give me heart trouble. You made my worries more than double OUTRO You are a hurricane that blew me away

Talk So Big 03:12
You Talk So Big VERSE When we first met, we could talk all night Or sit in silence and hold each other tight I’m not sure when things started to unwind Your words became a knife, the cut was so unkind CHORUS You talk so big — you talk so long You break like a twig — you’re not so strong The hole that you dig is so deep and long You talk so big, but you’re oh so wrong If you keep on talking, then I’ll be gone You talk so big, but you’re oh so wrong VERSE Now when we speak, it’s soon to head south Just about the time, you open your mouth Just when I think, I’ve spoken too soon Your words blow up like a big balloon CHORUS SOLO CHORUS

COUNTING BACKWARDS VERSE 1 I think about you, when I close my eyes In a shroud of darkness as the daylight dies Try to conjure your face from what I recall Gone as smoke in the wind, I have no crystal ball CHORUS Now you’re gone, what will keep me young? Since you’re gone, time is on the run Wherever you went, I wished that I could come Counting backwards to when we were young VERSE 2 Words of the Bard were wrong about the heart It’s a bitter sorrow, when we had to part Only fools regret, because what’s done is done If there’s one truth, youth is wasted on the young CHORUS VERSE 3 Look out ahead, careful don’t look back The past is the past, a fact is just a fact Cut no quarter, can’t turn on a dime The one lost thing you can’t get back is time CHORUS VERSE 4 (VIOLIN SOLO) CHORUS VERSE 5 I think about you, when I close my eyes In a shroud of darkness as the daylight dies Try to conjure your face from what I recall Gone as smoke in the wind, I have no crystal ball CHORUS Repeat last line three times. On the third time slow down.

IN TROUBLE AGAIN VERSE 1 Here I am with both feet planted on the ground I walk along, the crunch of gravel is the only sound The road turns to blacktop — take it as a sign It swerves from left to right, I walk the center line CHORUS Don’t know where I’m going and I don’t know where I’ve been I guess I’m headed for trouble once again I’m headed for trouble again I’m headed for trouble again VERSE 2 Wipers slap a rhythm and the rain comes down King of the highway wears cap, the road has a crown Beads of water form like tears — on the side window pane Sun comes out, dries them up, streaks like scares remain CHORUS SOLO VERSE 3 See a set of bright headlights coming round the curve Ain’t a race, it’s chicken man to see who has the nerve Which pedal should I chose brake or accelerate Push the pedal to the floor and leave it all to fate CHORUS OUTRO Oh, I’m in trouble again Oh, I’m in trouble again Oh, I’m in trouble again Oh, I’m in trouble again

ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN VERSE Fate lent a hand so we would meet Shuffled, dealt, odds that couldn’t be beat Things happen for reasons we can’t see Win, lose or draw, they have to be CHORUS I never saw it coming, I just kept on running Full speed ahead until we hit the wall Crash and burn We’ll never learn We were an accident, waiting to happen VERSE Love fell from the sky, out of the blue Clouds cleared away and I saw you Love or you hit me like a tons of bricks Either way, in the end I took my licks CHORUS VERSE Roll the dice, it’s part of the game How it lands, well no one’s to blame We were flying by the seat of our pants You never know unless you take a chance CHORUS VERSE We sang, we danced, we fought, we laughed, we cried That’s what happens when two lives collide Two big clouds rolling in the dark Crashing together in a lightning spark CHORUS

Best Days 04:22
BEST DAYS (CHORUS) Have the best days come and gone Wake up to a another wet gray dawn I can’t see too far in the distance I can’t go on without your assistance, without your assistance, Have the best days come and gone No regrets over what went wrong I just hope that all is forgiven Make the best out of each damn day, each damn day of (livin’) (VERSE ) Saw an old friend in the alley, bad choices he has made I don’t try to keep a tally, but his tattoos have started to fade He’s a rusty old blade, a dog that’s been spayed, He’s out of work and never gets paid. (CHORUS) (V2) Saw a busker, down on the street, stop you with a song and guitar. Smile all day on his swollen feet, I don’t know if I could go that far, even in my car, I don’t hang in bars, I’m too old to even smoke cigars (CHORUS) (V3) That thing called love up to something, it might be down on you That rose is really thorny, it’s turned from red to blue So sad it’s true, it must be through Thought that it couldn’t happen to you (CHORUS) (V4) When the summer turns to fall, leaves turn from green to brown Pocket phone wait for a call, it’s long silence wears you down Makes you frown, is he running around? The third time there’s no wedding gown. (CHORUS)

CAN’T SAY GOODBYE VERSE 1 You saw it coming at least a mile away You woke up and you knew it was that very day You made a promise to yourself you wouldn’t cry When the front door closed , you couldn’t say goodbye CHORUS When they look at you, those eyes so icy blue They pierce your heart and you know that it’s through Can’t say goodbye, but you try .... can’t say goodbye VERSE 2 Now it’s over, you want a brand new start There’s no love mechanic to fix a broken heart You’re just another wreck on the highway of love Crying on the shoulder because you’re thinking of... CHORUS VERSE 3 Will you trust again — a gaze from blue eyes? It takes more than a look to tell the truth from lies Most emotion lies somewhere in between Of things we want to hear and those things that can’t be seen CHORUS SOLO OVER VERSE CHORUS (PLUS) Can’t say goodbye. Can’t say goodbye. You know you try and try but you can’t say goodbye. Can’t say goodbye. Can’t say goodbye.

Almost Gone 05:00
ALMOST GONE VERSE 1 Once the circus came to town. Fire eaters and the clowns Pulled the stakes and fold the tent. Don’t know where the circus went No place left to spend the day. No place left to run away Pull the stakes and fold the tent. Don’t know where the circus went CHORUS Going, Going, Almost Gone The circus train just rolled on Going, Going, Almost Gone Rolled into night, gone by dawn Going, Going, Almost Gone Going, Going, Going Gone VERSE 2 Once a train from town to town, moving the show around Held our breath without a sound, wire walkers above the ground Acrobats on trapeze, flying through the air with ease Then a clown pretends to sneeze, flips and falls just to please CHORUS BRIDGE VERSE 3 Guess it was considered cruel, elephants didn’t make the rules Horses ridden by a sequined lady, barker seems a little shady Greatest show is best at night — loses glamour by daylight Could be why the circus went. Pulled the stakes, folded the tent CHORUS VERSE 1/4 Once the circus came to town. Fire eaters and the clowns Pulled the stakes and fold the tent. Don’t know where the circus went No place left to spend the day. No place left to run away Pull the stakes and fold the tent. Don’t know where the circus went CHORUS

released March 20, 2020

HOOT and Hollers consists of Bob Hoot of Tent Show Troubadours and one to four guest players who join in live performances. The Hollers often consist of at least Geri Hamilton (fiddle/vocals) and Doug McLeod (bass), who grace most of the tracks on this album. These 10 songs were recorded over the space seven years from 2012 to 2020 by The New Baldones and Tent Show Troubadours. What makes them uniquely different is that Bob Hoot's longtime producer and sound engineer, Landon Arkens has remastered them with new tracks by Bob Hoot and Geri Hamilton to emphasize the Country/Rock-a-billy/Americana vibe that is at the core of these songs.

Jenniper Hylbert lends her vocal talent to the following album cuts: Counting Backwards, Accident Waiting to Happen, Please Forgive Me Darling, and Almost Gone. Other contributors include Molly Lins (vocals), Isabell Bernauer (vocals), Lindsay Everly (keyboards, vocals), Shawndell Marks (keyboards), Chris Wagoner (violin, mandolin, lap steel guitar), Bruce Wasserstrom (guitar), Ben Lokuta (drums), Dave McGuire (drums), Tom Ellis (drums), Matt Barnidge (drums), and Chris DiBernardo (drums).
